I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn musical instrument repair, beginning as a teenager, through a traditional apprenticeship to a well-known master repairman. Starting with sweeping the shop floor, for 5 years I worked to become an expert repairman through intensive, hands-on training. In addition to repairing hundreds of student instruments, the shop's location, within blocks of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, gave me exposure to some of the finest instruments and musicians in the world.
Working in Vermont for the past 50 years, I have repaired thousands of wind and percussion instruments for the whole range of our amazing regional talent and for professional musicians, teachers, students and schools throughout New England and around the world. I am very gratified to have become well-known for my expertise and craftsmanship.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions of any kind. Evaluations are always free and I would love to work with you to make sure you feel confident that your instrument is functioning at its very best.
I look forward to meeting you!
